KOLAPOL KP
Description. Porous fragments (patches) of the sizes 20х8×7 mm, of the weight 0.03 g, of white colour (ТS 9391-003-77330104-2011). It may be manufactured in the form of plates and strips of different sizes and thickness on consumers’ demand.
Properties. The product is a composition of organic and inorganic components of hard tissues. It is defined as human tissues biocompatible and does not cause any rejection reaction.
KOLAPOL KP inforces osteogenesis (more than hemostatic KOLAPOL KP, but less than KOLAPOL KP-3), has significant local hemostatic action.
Indications for use. The material is used in surgery and orthopedic-traumatologic practice to stop the bleeding in osseous tissues during surgical interventions and also in the open wounds of traumatic genesis, when operating various hemangiomas, including hemophiliacs.
In ENT-surgery it is used to stop bleeding in the region of Kisselbach’s plexus after traumas and in hypertonic condition, atrophic changes of nasal septum mucous membrane, and in cases of bleeding during operations of conchotomy, etc.
In dental practice KOLAPOL KP is indicated in cases of increased bleeding (after complex tooth extraction, dental implantations and other surgical manipulations).
KOLAPOL KP is recommended for closing of maxillary sinus perforation.
